Publication Date : 24th June 2016

Publication : Asher Rain Publication

Blurb from Goodreads :    “His eyes settled on her…piercing green embers of flame that revealed the ferocity of his pain and passion, yet still shrouded him under veils of ever deepening mystery that made every ounce of her ache to unravel him.”

Tegan Lockwood’s dreams were dead, sacrificed on the noble altar of duty before they ever had a chance to live. Her entire existence was disappearing into the abyss of apathy as she labored her days away keeping her family’s struggling business alive. There would be no emotion, no color, no beauty in her life. That is, until a mysterious visitor begins to draw her out of the darkness of her past towards something that will challenge the boundaries of her world, and unlock the most deeply held secrets of her heart.

Cover Page : It is confusing and overly dramatic. It’s an average kind of cover page.

Plot : After reading the book, plot was quite normal and predictable. A pop star stud looking for some peace comes to a place where no one will be able to find him. Then meets a girl, normal but fisty. They fall in love…..

Writing :

The short time we have been together shall never feel sufficient, yet it is more than any man can ever hope to be rewarded. What price can put on inspiration?  What amount of gold can buy it? What power can capture or coerce it? What you have given to me is guaranteed to no man in this life, and is rarer than the precious stones that adorn the Royal Collection in London Tower. I am constantly perplexed as to how I could be so content, yet so unsatisfied; so tranquil, yet so restless; so elated, yet so in pain. Alas, this is love.

9/10 😍

Overall : I loved the book. Even though  there are predictable events the words that author had inked are really heart touching and amazing. It’s like a summer romance read. Tegan is a bit annoying but Mason is a heart-throb. Most lovable character in the book is Rayleigh, Tegan’s sister. I laughed so hard  because of her. This book is focused mainly on music and songs are composed and sung by the author himself. You  can find  him on YouTube by the same name.
